sleep mode and hdparam


Is my drive sleeping?

user@host:~$ sudo hdparm -C /dev/sdb

/dev/sdb:
drive state is: standby

Set my drive to sleep

user@host:~$ sudo hdparm -Y /dev/sdb

/dev/sdb:
issuing sleep command
